Stripe processes payment card information on our behalf. AAWIT does not store complete payment card numbers.
We use information to create and manage accounts, provide member and recruiter features, process and verify payments, facilitate job and networking connections, send service communications, respond to support requests, protect the platform, and improve AAWIT services.
Information you publish in the member directory, resume directory, marketplace, groups, or job-related features may be visible to other authorized users as described on those pages. We may also share information with service providers that support hosting, email, security, analytics, and payment processing.
We do not sell personal information.
Messages sent through AAWIT are stored to provide the messaging service. Community posts and other published content may be visible to the audiences identified within the platform.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so members should use strong, unique passwords and protect their login credentials.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some records may remain after account closure where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

AAWIT uses cookies and similar session technologies to keep users signed in, maintain security, remember preferences, and support essential site functionality.
AAWIT uses third-party services including Stripe for payment processing and Google reCAPTCHA for abuse prevention. Their handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies.
